There is alot of glass and resin. You can stand on this thing I am 250lbs and put all my weight on it, no problem! It sounds great and that's what matters right?
I do between 6-10 layers of chopped mat on my boxes because any flex under pressure is a loss of spl and may lead to separation at the joints between wood and fiberglass. the reason I thought it was pretty thin is you can see its pretty translucent in the sanding pic.

I'll be sure to work in more ports and make sure that the glass is extra thick on the next one!!

I remember the old m&m subs they were made by godfather audio that was a grip ago remember petra prowlers.. Oh yeah man nice install I am not a big fan of glass boxes but that one is nice man.
i was reading this thread and im new to fiberglassing but i thought after you layed up your chop mat you sand it down and get all the pits outs....and then put ur bondo filler on after that???
