I got a 96 Tahoe 4x4 5.7 and I swear im getting no more than 10mpg. I communte about 15 miles on the highway a day and im spending a average of $80 a week. $320 a month for gas!!!! Sucks to be me right now...

my 96 with a 4.3 5spd would get about 24-25 on the frwy before i swaped rear ends out but i got 23ish on the frwy
when i went to md and thats driving like 80 with
low pros and the engine runnin about 2grand but when i get my 20s i hope to get better mileage since it will be an inch smaller than stock but having a programmer to fix your speedo does help out

I got a 98 Tahoe with a new create 350 and GM Performance parts mild cam, k/n intake, headders, no cats, full flowmaster 40 serries mufflers and I get 12.5 in town driving some what normal and 16 on the highway.

00 ext cab 5.3 2wd no engine mods lowered on 22s get about 16mpg and i drive pretty fast
