What are you going to use for centers?

You would use a center out of a steel semi wheel and the rim hoop off the Dodge spare. Problem is the metals are different thickness' but it may still be enough on the hoops to hold the weight. May have to set it up for a different offset than the Aluminum/Steel wheels to get some of the weight load back into the center of the hoop.

I have both of these lying around in the back. If and when I get the time to try this I may just do it and see what it looks like.

The most I'd be looking at hauling would maybe be a 2 car trailer. Lock if they work out and you start selling them I'll need a set as kick back from the idea. hahaha!

That's what I figured. It be nice to be able to not have to run adapters. I mean if we're trying to save money. I do like the ten lug look though.

He's always floating around here.

And I think he probably already had the idea since he has both wheels just lying around in the back.

Gm makes a 22 inch steel wheel now for the escalade. now to find someone to weld the center in on a set.

Which GM 22" steel wheel? You mean those transport wheels that aren't DOT certified and have stickers all over them saying not for on-road use? They're supposed to get sent back to GM by the dealer for a core charge after the chrome 22's are installed after unloading from transport, but an amazing number of them seem to make their way out the back door and onto people's trucks. From what I hear they seem flimsy, which isn't surprising considering they were never meant to be driven on.

i have seen rims that had the center moved on the rim , i seen dually centers welded in 18 in rims (he wanted a dually with offroad tires )

the hardest part will be to get the centers out in such a way they still center , prolly need a bridgeportmill or a REALY big lathe
