Looking to pick up a service manual for my truck - 1988 1-ton V30.
No dice at the local parts stores - they have books for C10 / 20 and C/K series, but no R/V books.
No luck at Amazon or eBay either - lots of owner's manuals and dealer brochures though.

not a good chance you'll ever find one because all the info is the same for the 73-87 c/k trucks in 88 gm gave the new body trucks the c/k and created the r/v for the crew cabs and suburbans but in 90 (I think it was) they did away with the r/v and they became the c/k aging

I got a cd off of ebay for my 88 R30 and it has all the listings for R and V series trucks on it. It is a Mitchell repair cd for 83-89 c/k and r/v series trucks.

I got a crappy Haynes book for the 73-87 trucks, but that doesn't cover hardly anything about the 7.4L EFI trucks. Plus Haynes wiring diagrams straight suck.
Worked eBay a little more tonight - the magic letters are R V G P, search that "literature and manuals" and it brings up a bunch of (mostly used) dealer service manuals. Got a service manual, a wiring diagrams book, and an owners manual, so I'm happy.
