trying to install new upper control arm shafts and bushings do they have to be pressed or can you just tighten the hell out of them and they will push themselves in tried to tighten them but the arm looks like it might bend need input.

rent a puller from auto zone a and hook it up to an impact gun

the bushings are pressed in. you can use a ball joint press tool to get them in. make sure you have the shaft installed first.
