when I worked at EKMW we did one with the bags over the axle (firestone 26c's or the 2800 lb bag) but we had to "c-notch" the inside of the step notch for the bag to fit. If you are going to be pulling with it then move the hangers up closer to the cab and run a 2-link with the bags mounted to them.... if you stick them behind the axle you reallly wont get shit for lift so if you ever want to take your wheels off it might suck if you cant untuck them

I'm thinkin about sayin screw it and just buying some 8 inch slams and mounting them under the notch. That's the only real way to make em fit and still be strong enough to tow with. I can't mount my bags on the outside of the frame like some guys because I'm running a cab/chassis 14 bolt and the chunk isn't centered. It seems the easiest way to just buy some new bags for the rear and e-bay the ones I have and maybe get my $ back outta them. I'm running a SSD Parallell 4 link so there's no way of mounting them on the bars and them being strong enough to tow.

My tire is where your bag is Rich...lol There's only 4" between my frame rail and the inside of my tire. So basiclly the 4 link mounts will be inside the wheel and the bar will have a lil over an inch of clearance from my inside of my tire... There's NO room in the rear of my truck... My C/C Rear is 10" narrower than my factory dana 80. So that's 5" on each side.. Should tuck in the fenders nicely though...lol

we had some drawings of in front of axle and behind axle. but the brackets where angled from under the notch. It will work no problem just decided to go the other way. the brackets came from under the axle had a bend in them so the bag cleared the notch. Its hard to explain by typing. If you want when you call i can explain it a lot better on the phone.
Its fucking tight for room on these trucks in the rear for mounting shit for sure.
