No, but it's a real popular thing with the sandrail crowd. Adapters are real cheap.

Whatever.
Personally, I'd think about running a V-dub engine like that Toyota a few years back.
That'd be slick. Plus, you wouldn't have to dick with a cooling system.

that takes care of the transmission still leaves the rearsuspention and drivehubs though .

Ok anybody that has seen "gixxerkart" or goolge diablo smart car will see where I'm going w/ this. Solid live axle on a 2-link with a turbo Hayabusa motor chain driven.
motor tips forward a little so it has a compact height. could be kept under a tonneau and those things sound mean!
thought about doing it to mine but mine has the mitsu 2.6 carb'd and header'd

hayabusa is a good idea just don't make the truck too heavy (use a lot of fiberglass and carbon ), an english company called quaife makes or used to make reverse boxes for those things too so you don't have to push it in the parkingspot
these things usually mounted on the spot of the chaingear and drove a propshaft in kitcars sequential gears are fun too and eazy to make work inside the truck .
did you ever seen the you tube movie of the V8 they made based on two hayabusa's it screams like a formula one engine
you might be able to use the rearend of one of those trike harleys those are solid axles and i've seen them with beltdrive and chaindrive there made in different wids and mount car tires
