Now i know we all seen this mostly on the shitbox style chevy.... Its where the cab and the bed look like its caved in at the split and when you look at the side of a truck it almost looks like the truck is gonna break in half.

anybody know what causes this and if there is a fix.... Thanks

my best guess is the supports under the floor of the bed caving in either that or the rubber donuts under the bed abd cab .
my bed is so bad the only thing holding it in place is the wood floor that is bolted trough the bed on the frame

unless you over loaded the frame, most cause of this sag is like he said...check your rear cab bushings, that is where the sag comes from

Believe it or not my truck is a 2wd Xcab with a 7" lift and 35" tires.... The funny thing is that i used to have it lowered and the step notch is still in the truck.

But in answer to the frame being bent when i took the bed off to change the fuel pump the frame looks straight as an arrow and i would think that if it was bent the bed bolts wouldnt line up.

mine was really whack yo...but because of the "notch" if you want to call it that, the previous owner elmer glued on. took a a day and a half and a lot of freakin measuring to get it back straight again...lot of beeras also... fyi: it is possible to drive your truck around with the frame completely broke in two on both sides(broke in 4???) and not really have any issues....besides looking like ass and denting the back of the cab and letting the axle move in un natural directions, and herpes,
