79 impala suspension

This kind of work is not my usual job so I was lookin for a little insight. A guy I work with wants me to install a lift on a 79 impala (4dr v so he can put 24's on it. Ive heard about truck suspension parts and kits and all and what Im lookin for is an affordable parts list and a good estimate on time involved. Any info is much appreciated folks!

use some lift spindles for a fullsize 88-98 chevy truck and then extend the upper control arm about 1/4 inch and find a spring that will give you about an inch or two more lift that would be five inches and then the back is cake.

couple questions:

Wheres a good place to get lift spindles?
a little definition on extending the control arm?
Would just using chevy truck control arms and spring work?
Are blocks enough for the back or swap leaf springs?
