It would probably be closer to $2000 to do it. I don't need nothing in my pocket. I guess you could pay my entrance into texas showdown. It's probably not worth it to have me do it though.

For $1,200 J, why don't you fly up and drive it back down?

Can't get away from work for that long?

Let’s take a look at this from my point of view…

Flight from SoCal to Columbus…$350.00
1200 miles from Sunbury to Tomball @ 8 mpg and $4.25/gallon…$637.50
Stop in Louisville and visit my sister for the evening. Crash @ her place…$0.00
Drive from Louisville to Tomball…15hrs…I’m good for about 8-9hrs of driving, so motel room…$80.00
Deadhead into Tomball and crash at your place…$0.00
Flight home…$300.00
Plus misc. expenses…$100.00

So we’re looking at roughly $1467.50.

Assuming I could get time off of work that fast.

It would cost me between $1100 and $1400 depending on mileage at $5.00 a gallon for dizzle.

Maybe less but not sure as I haven't towed on flat ground really, around here it is mostly hills and no freeways. I have been getting 11mpg with my 10,000lb camper but that shouldn't weigh that much nor have the the wind drag my camper does.

I would definetely be interested as I need a good reason to get the hell outta MI for a few days.
