I'm running a Doug Thorley header. I love it. Its about 1/2" above the frame with my motor dropped one inch and layin flat. LC also makes a header that comes in two pieces that you just don't use the second piece on. I don't remember the cost on the LC. But my Thorley was $200 shipped.

I did a downey header on my 97 tacoma. If you call them you can order it without the flange at the bottom. Then you can section the pipe a little(I didnt have to though)

I put a LC header on my old 91 yota and it doesnt hang below the frame with the motor dropped an inch. Just dont use the second piece that comes with it. The bad thing about the LC headers is they arent cheap!

My Toyota is an automatic & as you guys know the shifter is on the column, but Ive been told that you cant run a header because the linkage is too close to the factory manifold. Anybody have any ideas on what I can do or try??? I was thinking I could just move it to the floor...but then what model unit Toyota would I get the shifter out of??
Post any pics of you guys have them too!!
