body work

sup guys. i have gotten to the point were i im done with the metal work..... now is it best to put body filler straight to metal or in other words were ever there are little dings i take that spot to bare metal..the paint is not tooo bad.. so what can i used to sand the rest also before i put my rage gold should i put like dura glass?

i use shit called metal to metal filler, works great
