I understand welding it from the back I was just not sure how well it would hold up since the thickness of the lip and shaver together is like 1/16'' or so. I will just do it and see how she works. I will try to take pics. thanks .

when you remove the rear step you lose the body line asap. we did the first or second one every done (as far as i have been told) on Callie's truck from MiniMadness. you are going to have to modifiy the step shaver kit at the wheel well for it to work perfectly and you might have to trim some out of the wheelwell as well. we made our on body line to sorta match up with the stock line .... hopefully that helps a little
