Stainless is definitely the way to go. It's a bitch to bend, but looks so worth it when it's done. As for the valves, GC would be a good way to go. The Platinum series valves are nickel plated and look damn good. You can pick up you supplies at: www.inlinetube.com or classic tube.com. Be prepared the stuff is EXPENSIVE!

Take a look at this pic. Think it was worth it??

Are those compression fittings on the stainless? ^^

I say stay away from copper line. It doesn't seal worth a shit. Ask me how I know.

Not to argue with you or anything Seth. I agree the copper is a bitch to get it to seal off real good. I have copper tubing from Lowes, and compression fittings also from Lowes. I drive an 18 wheeler across country. Back in Jan I was gone for 3 weeks. When I parked the truck the tanks had 180 p.s.i. Whe I retured it had went down to around 170 p.s.i My point is you can get it to seal up. But I can bet that most of the threads on the fittings are so tight that they are stripped and wont be usable if ever removed.

I'm just staing from my personal experience that mine leak. I've gotten the fittings as tight as they wwill go. I even pulled the valves out to tighten them on a bench. I figured it was good enough, but they still leak at the valve. Surprisingly not at the bag. It leaks down at a rate of 1" per hour roughly. Pretty bad.

What can I say. Maybe for once I got lucky with something?????? I did run stainless braided under the hood because of all the bends and turns. Eventually I want to do it all in Stainless braided lines.

Those are flare fittings in that pic of the Taco. It sat for months at a time up in the shop so it could be moved in and out. No leaks.
