i'm looking at posibly buying a dually this week and just curious as to what everyone thinks. if itsa good deal or bad deal. its a 1996 C3500 crew cab dually, 2dw, ruffly 110k miles, 454 motor, no visable rust or scratches on the outside. 1 small 2" dent on the drivers door, no otherdents , not even inside the bed, power everything with AC. guyshad it for sale here off and on for a year , hes asking $7000 for it . would i be insulting him if i go and look at it and offer him $5500 cash on the spot? ifso whats a fair price? opinions please

Hell, if he's had it for sale for a year, offer him 5000.

The worst that can happen is he'll say, "no".

I would'nt worry about insulting him. With gas comming up on $4/gallon this summer, I don't think he can be too picky.
