I'm running 2 AZs, at 180psi. The first two were under the bed, the second two were in the bed. Check valves are in it, no water traps though. I went threw and the wiring is fine.
The first two were the recalled AZs, the second two werent. I see an EDC in my future. You're using AZ's that's your problem. If you're on #5&6 why the hell would you keep using them?
yep az's have been known 2 have problems.try viair i have a 450 and beat on it everyday and its still kickin
but it could be power draw,i know those comps use alot of power and if u do dont have some big guage wire and a extra battery and prolly a bigger alt. with 2 comps then thats more than likely ur prob
actually no offense to the anyone who say that az's are crap but most of the time the problem is people aren't smart enough to know what compressor to buy. i dont care if az's are supposed to be 100% duty cycle, because they arent. but they fill faster than a viar 450. so what im saying is that if you just air up and go where you need to and show off only on occasions than get an AZ. On the other hand if your a switchwhore like me than you want viar. my personnal opinion(if u want to stay cheap).
HAHAHAHAHAHA 24's are gay also. LOL This word sure gets thrown around alot.
where are you grounding to, the frame???? i have my 2 thom filling my 12 gallon tank for about 5-6 years now. i did have prob for a while cuase i was grounding to the cab not the frame.
Its all 8gauge running to two Stinger SR80s, grounded to the frame.
I must say the first two were bad pistons. I think one of my new ones died the same way since it was a recall number. The other probably burnt out trying to fill 14 gallons almost by itself.
Im thinking Ill rebuild the two that need new pistons, sell the new ones and get an EDC.

oh jesus man, there is the problem 14 gallons with 2 compressors?? ouch, up to 180 psi........you must be super switch happy if you need that much air. Down size your tank size to a 8 gallon or 5 gallon. i have two compressors and ive ran the crap out of them with no errors. over a year and a half now. I use to be on 200 psi, but now im down to 150. its a alot better, fills quicker, but is a little slower. If your wanting to hop keep the 180 or 200 psi pressure switch but down size the tank.
