super pivots

i have a SD adjustable 4 link on my truck right now and I want to add super pivots to it. do i only need to put them on one end of each bar (the threaded end for instance)? so that means i only need four right? or is there a need to have them on each end of the bars, eight total?

anyone?

The super pivots I have you weld them on to the end of the bar that connects to the axle, the other end is the adjustable rubber bushing type. Not sure which one you have, although the 4 link I have isnt from SD.

If I remember correctly is basically the same idea.

so i need to put the ends with the super pivots where the links connect to the axle, or does it matter?

SD sells some super pivot bar ends that have the threaded part connected to them, so i'm assuming i can take the threaded ends off of my 4 link and just screw these on. will that work?

exactly. Do just as you described above and it will be all good. You'll be hitting sides in no time. Good luck

thanks. last question, do the ends with the super pivots have to be on the axle side of the bars or can they be the other way around? because my bags are mounted on the upper bars and the threaded ends are facing the front of the truck, so i wouldn't be able to flip the bars around.

If the bags are mounted on them, the threaded end needs to be on the axle. Having it the way you do, if/when you adjust the bar, it would change the length between the bag mount and the frame mount, offseting the bagmount on the bar from the bagmount on the frame, so they don't line up any more.Albeit you probably won't adjust your bars enough for this to have a big enough negative effect, it's still the proper to set them up.

Put the super pivots on the axle end so when you hit sides the whole bar isn't twisting, which twists you bag. If their on the axle end then the bar stays strait and the super pivot allows the axle to articulate.
