Never Have Help When Ya Need It Most

Dude, you need to look into a different club. I wouldn't leave any mini-truck'r stranded on the side of the road, especialy a club member. What the hell is the point of rolling in a caravan, if no one is going to help out a fellow member. I would have slashed eveyone of thier tires when I got there, and asked them how it feels... BITCHES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yea well i got a better story, when your in a "minitruck" clubb and you blow a tire on the way to FFF last week and they dont stop, only 1 guy out of 12 caravanning stopped, and the others said they had a show to get to! i dont give a rats ass who it is or if i am late if I am going down the road and i see a Minitrucker that needs help or is broke down I will be there until its fixed or a tow comes, thats just me i guess, i could give 2 fucks about the show for someone that needs help. they rolled in without me and made it look like I told them to leave, how can I do that if you never stop to help me out. i dont care if you dont have a spare. a crew is a crew, you stay together.... no more clubs for me i guess, too much drama and BS.

i've got to agree with russ-d on this one, i mean dang come on, from what it sounds like clubs are a pain...

From what I have seen in my 12 years in the scene, clubs are a big pain in the ass..... with 1 bieng totaly different from the rest. is more like a lrge extended Family. We don't hvae "required" meetings, or shows that everyone must attend. Of course we want everyone to go to our show, Sout East Showdown, but not everyone can make it that weekend. We do have rules, but most of them pertain to the appearance of the truck. Plus you got like R.A. , S.T. , Pebble Pushers, and so on, that are all good clubs. We/they don't get that big by being jerks to everyone. And I am not saying that clubs are for everybody, they aren't. I never thought I would join a club, untill I met Acro Tampa, and then the rest of Acro.

I can say all the shit I have seen from Acro, has been top notch. People and rides both. They never fail to impress.

I haven't come across a mini broken down in my time, except for a buddy that had a stuck valve. He couldn't lay out with it stuck, so I loaned him mine until he could get some new valves ordered. Needless to say, its been 8 months or more. Next time I see his truck, it's coming off like it or not. I am tired of FAKE people. I will tell you what I think regardless of who you are, but I will also help the best I can regardless of who you are. Soon as you fuck up like this kid though, your cut off.

Imagine how many friends u aquire when u own a shop and all of em pretty much are the same "man i cant believe all these people expect u to do that much work and dont wanna pay on time etc..". Guess what those same guys are the ones that get their shit in the shop then get broke

As for the guy being stranded and his own club not stopping dood fuck them guys find some real friends.

ive been in alot of clubs over the years and i jus have to stand up an say im in the best club ive ever known , ive always been the one who has to fix everybodys truck evertime they break , now its a group effort these guys made sure my truck was at freakshow last year and that was alot of work when i dint have time to make it alone , alot of extremly late nights were put in and it seems no matter when i need help they are alwys there for me as i am for them , i jus wantee to say that there is a group for everyone and you gotta find it for yourself , i found mine and i wouldnt give up my club for anything!!!!!

i guess it depends who you hang out with. like NO1lowr said our club will never leave anyone behind. we have always helped eachother out. when one pulls over we have all pulled over just to see what the problem was. and all racked the brain to try and get it fixed and back on the road again.

hahaha, that's not even just with a shop. that goes for ANYTHING dealing with money. When I did some stereo work back in Orlando before moving here I had that shit happen a few times. Once they said that, I started ripping shit apart to get my product back and left their car torn apart. They learn sooner or later.

Eh, I know what you mean, but i do have some damn good friends. Me and 2 of my friends worked on my truck an in a month did the paint and had the bed finished and line-x'd for the local indoor WOW show. The day I drove it outta there, took it to my friends garage since I dont have one so I could store it till my headers came in, we took it all apart and did a buncha lil stuff while it was there...for 2 months...

thanks for all the input on my situation guys, it helps in my decisions, anybody else want to weigh in on my story up there?
