Yes, this is probably a rant, but i want everyone's opinion on it. Alright so here we go.
I've helped several of my "friends" bag, bd, and do bodywork on their rides, but when it comes time for me to need some help, they're never around or too busy. When I blow off my fiance to help'm on their trucks but they make excuses. Like today for instance, I need to get my dime back in the garage, but where I pushed it out of the garage and parked it at turned into a big mudhole after some severe rains we've had so now it's stuck...I pulled it as far as I can with my Colorado, but to get it on into the garage, it'll take pushing and a atv. Which the truck could probably be moved with two people easily. So here's my position and now I stand a minitrucker in need and none of my "buddies" ever wanna help...sound off.

Yeah I've been leaving my msn and icq on all day while I've been out, and I just came in to check and one of my army national guard brothers are going to come around and help me out...the military understands brotherhood, what happened to minitruckers understanding brotherhood??

im sorry to say but it is out there, you may just be hanging with the worng minitruckers, example...
i took my 4 runner to the fff show, trailered it etc,
#1: they drove the entire way with me at 55
#2: i got a flat tire so they helped me find a guy with a generator to fix my tire
#3: one of the dump soleniods was leaking so bad that it wouldnt even hold weight in the vehicle, so we got that tightened up.
#4: a wire on one of my dumps some how got cut in half, with one guy touching the wire together and one guy holding the other guy over the rear end so he didnt get crushed by the vehicle traveling we got it to lay laY out.
the night before my airbrush buddy shows up at 1 am and morsks for 2 hours for free just to make sure the truck had a bit of work on it for the show.
i could go on for hours, the point is is that there is a minitruckin brotherhood, and i know its there, and i dont count on it not being there, i guess being in a club of active minitruckers is a bit of a plus as well. good luck to you, if your in cali by chance and withing a hour or so drive id love to come help you push it out of the mud. good luck.

I had to wait almost two weeks for my fbi order and it finally made yesterday. My friends would rather sleep in this morning. Its frustrating

I hear ya bro. I bought my so called best friend a car and GAVE it to him when he was 21 and never had a car ever at all. And when i call him to come over and help HAND ME TOOLS and DRINK BEER. Thats it. And he didn't want to get off the fucken couch. So i know what it's like man. All i can say is start tellen your buddies no when you get the phone call to come help them. Good luck man.

I'm greatful for the few friends I have that lend a hand every once in a whil when I need it. Especially my friend Everett. We've spent many a night working on one of our trucks getting them ready for something. We were up until 2 last year plumbing his valves and wiring them the day before Danger Zone. About 2 weeks ago he came over and aligned my truck while I buttoned up the electrical on the interior and finished bleeding the clutch so I could drive it to the meeting right then.
Just depends who you hang out with I guess. I'm always down to help other people out, I like it. Plus I hate working on my own truck.
The rest of the club must be told months in advance and persuaded with beer and a barbeque to get half of them to show up and help. Even then I get more support from other clubs that are hours away, not minutes.... Sometimes I think I get more support from Freaks than my own club..
