The way things seem to be going its either gonna be completely detailed high quality show trucks with tons of cash droped into them, or just beat ass pieces of shit, just built to drag the piss out of. No more just simple, clean, mildly built customs.
I doubt that. There's never just the 2 extremes of a scale existing. There will always be trucks out there of many different quality/detail levels. There might become less of a variety on the show circuit, but they'll always be out there. I know I'll never have the patience/time/money to build a complete showstopper, but that doesn't mean I'm gonna say fuck it and build a complete POS, even though mine doesn't look like it's that far off right now LOL.

i think those wheels totally work with your truck & will be bad ass, if one of theese wheel companys would reproduce the weds gs up to a 17 or so, i think would give a little kick in the mini trucks being built..... hell even the tri fans on the right truck would be sweeet!!

i think the mild truks are gona go back to being static dropped on 15s-17s with the old school touches of the 80s and 90s like shells targatops insanely huge systems and the such especially with gas prices the way there goin those 80s trucks that were gettin 20-40 mpg are gonna start lookin hella sweet
Might have come off a little DIRECT on my statement.
Chris makes a nice point about admiring our own work even if nobody is around to see it. Makes for good motivation. Didn't mean for it to sound like we do what we do JUST for each other's satisfaction and not ourselves that wouldn't make sense a tall. But it's a bit of each side I think. Sorry for the confusion.
And yes Kev you are a "lying sack of shatness," with a mullet. (kudos)
im lovin that dime PPbdydrpd! looks hella tight
Detailed trucks will be around. There are ALOT of BOS quality trucks that drive often if not daily. Dragging will always be around. Joe drags his toyota. Ryan Leonard has one of the baddest most detailed trucks out and he drives and drags that thing. The scene has always had ballistic detailed rides and "entry level" rides. Look at sportruck.com , act ones site, partypage.net, truckrun.net for history reference. There has always been a range. I like the variety out there now. Lambo doors don't really kill a ride. Only trend that I don't see a point in is trailer balls for "dragging". Saw a bad example at FF.
Dont know who said it but DRAGGIN will never go out of style. Matt Las Vegas chapter
Well if I still owned it, this "lame" mazdarossa would still kick some ass.
