my favorite old truck was project x the green yota doored on like 16s 17s miss that one
they called him RODNEY RAT from ratical tops
& project X was on 15" & only had half the rocker left & it was built it mid 94
WELL I LIKED IT ITS BEEN A WHILE
you know what really bothers me is when people talk about rat rods and old skool. doing a rat rod is not flat paint and 15's it's driving it daily and building it to handle all weather not for looks at all might even look shitty as hell but it's built like that cause you don't have the money or don't care about fancy shit.
I know one lame thing that will never disappear...haters

If that were true then we'd all be spending our time and effort doing what we do just so we could sleep at night. A hard days work on our rides is all we need to boost self-gratitude? Doubtful... If someone tells you that they they built their truck entirely for themselves and not the appreciation of fellow enthusiasts they're a lying sack of shatness. A good one at that. If you were to move to a secluded island tomorrow where no one would know you existed you would still do what we do? Spend thousands of earned cash and hundreds of hours on a petty piece of transportation? This scene has grown off of each one of us giving pats on each others' arsses and returning that appreciation to each other. And if/when the day comes that it doesn't happen that way then all of this shenanagins would come to an end I would only think. But keep running around with the "hell with everyone else's opinions on what I do to my truck" mentality.
I don't care if anyone reads this I typed it for myself. Live long and prosper Truxarossa.
i couldnt disagree with you more. i do it for me. just the other day i fired my truck up for the 1st time since i tore it back down, and slid it out to the end of my drive( nice and flat there) just so i could see what i had done! not to show it to anyone, i had nothing but a huge grin on my face, and no one else was there to appreciate it. would i build it again if i were on an isolated island? you bet... do i like people checkin out my ride? sure, but it damn sure dont drive me to build my ride.
skulls are headin out, lambos for sure, and flames in general
(damn my grammer blows)
I hope Lambo doors go away from the minitruckin scene. Thay are so ricey.
Maybe S-10 will be lame in 2025, but I dont care. I'll still rock a nice 1st gen when I am 50
i wish trailor balls went lame.
