Anyone have any pics of gooseneck hitches on round tube bridges? Im going to put one on my truck but not sure if it will be stout enough to actually pull a trailer....

My bridge is 1 3/4 DOM .120 wall on top of a 8 in notch.

Itll be enough, just be sure to get the ball that has like a 2'' OD shank and uses a pin to keep it in. My bridge is made of 1 1/4'' .25 wall DOM and pulls the wedge just fine.

got any pics?

When you say its held in with a pin? Your talking the ball correct? I dont know that i have seen one of those. BUt I havent went looking for a ball yet just knew that i wanted one on the middle of the bridge....

Thanks

Yea the ball is a 2 5/16'' ball and instead of having a threaded shank and nut the shank is smooth and has a hole through it for a "cotter pin" You weld a piece of 2'' ID pipe in your bridge and thats the reciever.

If i can get to the shop before it gets dark ill take some pics of it all apart.
