how did u astro guys go about notching the frames on the van snice its uni body. Box tube the hole thing or what. Iam just trying to figure out what i got to do

The way I did it was take a suicide doors notchs and tack welded the outside parts of the notch to the astro frame "unibody" where you want it, then cut out the frame, then weld in the rest of the notch, we welded inside and outside of the astro frame. If you want some pics, let me know.

some people i know did it that way some ppl are telling me its all got to get box tubed but its also a 99 astro so i donnt if that changes things a little bit
