my grandfather had one on his 96 ford f350 and he said he loved it pulling his 34ft 5th wheel camper going down the interstate at 70 and turning like 1200 rpms...

I took my truck out tonight and the 3.42 gears dropped the cruising rpm about 600.
I went from aroud 3000 at 75 to about 2400. idk about gas milage yet though.

couldnt find a diff and axle 49" long...so I am having it built. Should be a couple of weeks...Its a Dana 70 (hell I only know, the 10 bolt, 12 bolt and 9icnh by site.) But it was pulled from a cab and chassis truck. It has the 3:73s...
