If you guys would post up pics of your setup, that would be killer. Just looking at everything right now, and really want to use uniballs, just looking for all my options.
do you mean uni-balls for hydros? for the cylinder to sit into and pivot?
if so, i have a few pics in my profile of my various setups using uni-balls, and next week when i pick my control arms up from chrome, i will have more pics of my uni-ball setup i used up front...
Here is my uniball setup:
there's up close pics of the yota

do most of you guys just weld to the auctual case of the spherical bearing? or do you press it into a sleeve and weld to that?

my fault, meant balljoints.
ok, well heres the ones we use in the BLF control arms.
We machine the spherical bearing shafts in house, along with the offset spacers to get extra travel. But we also press ours into a machined cup so that you can weld to that thicker cup, instead of the auctual case of the spherical bearing.
These arms here are for an s10.
these are pics of the auctual components we machine for them...
Heres the bearing inside the weldable cup we machine.
