whats up guys im getting ready to put my hands on a 96 taco and i need to know about switching the rearend out. ive heard that the older model toyota rearends were a few inches narrower. is there any thing other than plug and play with these rearends that i need to know about? thanks

EVERY THING BOLTS UP THE SAME AND ITS ABOUT 1.5" SHORTER ON EACH SIDE....DIFFERENT MODELS HAVE DIFFERENT GEAR RATIO AND IT HAS TO BE A 2WD TO HAVE 5 LUG I GOT MINE OUT OF A 94 EX CAB AUTO IT HAS A HIGH GEAR RATIO AND BEING 94 THE BRAKES WERE PRETTY GOOD....
