Cadillac Rims on a Mazda
I know the front rims center needs to be machined out, and you need the bulge( or whatever) seat lug nuts.... but what about my stock fenders? Can I keep them? Or do I have to bow out the fenders to tuck the rims. I would like to retain the trucks body lines. Any additional things I need to know will also be useful. Oh yeah... would It be easier to just get different rims with the right offset? Thanks guys, Snoogins
well, there are a few different cadillac rims. I assume you have 2wd sheetmetal?
16" escalade : tuck front and rear, no problems
17" escalade : tuck front, rear you have to pull the bedsides out a bit. If you use a drop spindle it will BARELY tuck front.
18" escalade : BARELY tuck front, rear pull the bedsides out a LOT. Forget bout drop spindles.
20" escalades : no way. Not a chance without narrowing the front control arms and using a narrower rear axle.
Anyone know what lugs you need exactly? thanks!

12mm x 1.5 RH thread Bulge Seat Conical Lugs....
What exactly do you have to do to the lugs to get the 17 in caddy wheels to fit????

You need the bulge seat lugs because the Escalade has 14mm studs, and the Mazda has 12mm studs. You need to bore the center of the wheel out to fit over the hub, or grind the aligning tabs off the hub.
