SON OF A................................

Miine was cut off just behind the cab w/o a muffler. when I got my truck.

...wasnt bad at 1st....till I started thinking my son was gonna go deaf from sitting in the back and the annoying drone on the highway.

we raised my crossover under the tranny and dumped it right out the muffler, 3 inch pipe for the crossover, cut that off and raised it up using 2 .25 and plugged it into the existing pipe

Mine...(I love saying that)...dumps out in front of the rear end.

i have duals that dump out in the fenders right infront of the rear tires

oh once I'm back from reso I'll be redoing it to run strait and out the back and dump out right behind my rear wheels all in 3"

When i had my 91 the original exhaust had the muffler first then the converter towards the end of the truck. I replaced the stock one with a Flowmaster single end dual out with turn downs... Man the sounded like a freakin pro-street. BAD ASS!!!!

got a single 3" with no muffler goes all the way to the bumper since I'm at 4x4 height..argg

my exhaust just fell off past the mufflers. so i said screw it and just left it be. it's right before the rear. dual 3 inch mufflers with custom x pipe and no cats. Never got bothered with it.

Some genius figured they would leave the stock restrictive exhaust on the 77 dually i'm doing. (start date for pics Jan 8th!). So imagine this...a 454 that's had a shitload of work done on it, probably more alone the lines of a 570 something right now...breathing through 2.5" exhaust.

I'll never understand some folks...oh ya forgot to add this bit. The pressure from the exhaust split both mufflers wide open! I have two of those new big flowmasters for it now.

I bet it had some bottom end torqu and no top end or gas milage
