Okay, so I'm getting close to driving my truck for the first time. At this time, everything is new in the truck, so I'd like the odometer to read 0. Anyone know how to reset them? I've never done it before.

hook up the odo to a drill and let it spin til it is at 000000000

No inspection here other than smog tests.

Thanks for the input.

The odometer has been rolled over before. It only goes to 99,999 miles, and the trucks got 198k miles recorded on it. I don't see the big deal in rolling over 2k miles.

you should try to find another cluster to roll back and then use the stock one to register it.

Exactly. I'll be breaking laws pretty much every time I drive it.. Having a notch in yoru frame is a hefty violation here.

SR5 clusters are hard to come by, with the tack in them. What are the consequences of rolling it over? How would they know I didn't drive the truck 2k miles?
