if I strait up fill them it might get a little costly so I might shove them full of paint sticks first that will be a little more cost efective

Don't laugh, at a shop I worked at the boss would scour the floor for good sandpaper and bust a load if he found a piece 3-folded with any salvageable grit left on it...

I always waited for him to say that...unfortunately he just scowled and yelled alot.
