33mm lug nuts are about 1.52 ea
33mm studs are about 3.28 ea
=4.80x 40=192
and you start with about 40lbs of steel to machine your adapters

at the going price per pound of .15x 40x 4=24

so your into 4 adapters $216 and you haven't even started to pay for setup and machine time


all I can say is knock yourself out if you can do it cheeper

Pig what do the beads look like on the wheels you just got from Trevor? Are they more than just milled smaller?

If you think you can do it cheaper than knock yourself out. I think you will find that it isnt as easy as it seams. Machines cost $$$, Time cost $$$, materials cost $$$, products cost $$$, and your shop costs $$$. Plus there is alot of liability and insurance that needs to be considered because peoples LIVES are depending on your products. These business that sell these wheels (including myself) are not fly-by night businesses and we dont work out of our parents basements.

you've got $300-$350 into a 22" wheel machined and if you think about it thats not bad at all. The tires aren't on the high side either.

It's the nuts/lugs and adapters that add up

Stuff's expensive. Even pricing out 19's with tires made my stomach turn. But like I said, nothings gonna change unless people refuse to pay it...or the market gets flooded. Neither of which I see happening any time soon.

I wasnt putting any accusations on anyone I was just making a point that there are more fees that go into producing these products than just the materials. Just trying to show the paper side of business.
