how hard was it to change the crossmember that sticks out on s10 i got the one from ssd and gona give it a shot this weekend is there a how to on it ? it dosent look to hard
I guess your talking about the ssd crossmember that is used to raise your gas tank. Its really easy to put on. All you do is cut off the stock crossmember and then the ssd is completely bolt on. Just remeber it only raises the back of the tank. The front of the gas tank will still be under the frame.
i think he's talking about the carrier bearing x member that hangs down hella low and keeps u from laying flat rail. Its not hard to take out if you have the right tools. Air chisel would be your best friend. But you can just grind down the rivets and then hammer/chisel it out manually. Takes longer that way but you can do it.
