I think Brandon's right about advertising, I think its what scares some of the mag's from taking the chance on it.. That and maybe not having enough cars to fill the pages every month and for years to come...You can't start a magazine on a fad, not at all saying this is a fad, but trucks have been around for many years...Look how many truck magazines there are that cater to the same kind of stuff, and shows there

i have been thinking about doing this. I have access to quality printing for a good price. I already know a photographer or 2 that would shoot for me to get it off the ground. Im a designer so i can design the entire layout. I live less then an hour from the Home Office of Wal Mart so i could talk to them about distribution if it took off. It would have to start off by being sold online and through shows and subscriptions im sure though. Would be hard to get advertisers cause no one really makes anything for cars. Most mini inspired cars are custom. Hardly any sheet metal products. Im not even sure though how many pages would be sufficient at first. It would definatly be an all color magazine if i did it.

Oh yea It would have to be a quartly magazine at first. Lemme know your thoughts.

one more thing. if i did it it wouldnt have body kit rides with gullwing doors. maybe kits if they layd and the rest of the car was done up like Adams accord. true mini style and all. also id through in some old school layd out rides, wagons, and even an occasional layd hard street rod or rat rod.

Yeah Mini Inspired cars are custom & most of the time nothing is bought, its made. But you can reach out to companies like Guilt By Design, Mindless Metalfab, etc that take custom orders.

i emailed back and forth with mike a few months back about adding mini inspired cars back in the mag and he posted on here to get everyones opinion on it. and from the way i took it is that it isnt gonna happen unless all of us with cars can find a way to convince him to do it. im just like the rest of you with a crazy a$$ project being built and the only place to get it featured is gonna be online. so i say we need to find a way to do some serious convincing. i would be down with maybe like four mags a year to start off with
