I DONT HAVE A BIAS FOR CARS AS OPPOSED TO TRUCKS. AND IM SURE OTHER VIDEO GUYS WOULD SAY THE SAME. SICK MINI INSPIRED CARS AND FULL SIZE CARS ALWAYS HAVE A PLACE IN DOMINATION THE VIDEO.

there are so many dope cars out there..shit people have never seen on here...lots of caprices..300c's...magnums..hondas..nissans.. whatever it be. i agree, maybe not everymonth, but everyother month would be nice. half the cars i see in showcoverage from different sites arent on here with a profile...even a half and half mag. cuz i still love checking out some sick mini trucks!!! but the "minitrunkin" mag. would be hot!!! if the car guys buy minitrukin, why wouldn't the truck guys show love and buy minitrunkin...in my opinion, cars and trucks are dope rides..they're all sick!

yea, i agree. there are plenty of clean cars to shoot that arent cheap rice rides. whats the deal here? how can people really love trucks so much and not be into cars? they look sick, nice clean lines and all, especially when they are layed out, nothing beats em. im in love with both. mini trunkin is where its at, every 3 months or something, like 10 pages with 2 main cars and some car coverage and 1 tech article, whats so wrong with that? l8ter

This topic has been brought up a 100 times and its always the same thing, everyone wants one, but it wont happen. I had one of the few vehicles that was ever in Minitruckin that one year they ran them, so i kinda want this myself. I've brought it up to several of the truck magazine editors, but its always the same thing, there is NOT enough advertising money to do it. There are plenty of truck companies that pay for ads, but no car companies.

but i havent even seen a lowrider edge around in a while.
a quarterly magazine would be nice, even bi-yearly. mt started out that way. they could spin off a siter mag for MT inspired cars and when it gets enough publicity, they can expand it.

the thing abouta magazine like this is that you have too many diffrent views on how a car should look if a car has lambo doorsand a bodykit thats not mini inspired would the guy buildin a civic on air buy the magazine if there was a bagged bubble on the cover ? i think theres to much of a risk lowrider euro was going in the right direction cus it was catered to the younger lowrider market but others would still buy it. a magazine like that would work cus you could put cars suvs minis lowrods etc etc

Just some notes to the ideas here. Courtney used to get a ton of hate mail for ruining MT by putting just one compact in it. "That space could go to another truck".
Was the 3rd car featured. It had one off billet all over it, custom interior, chromed engine, supra taillights, completely shaved. But there was still hate mail on it for "taking up space a worthy truck should have gotten."
The problem you are going to run into is the accord the guy posted. Clean ride but is it "true mt style"? What would you put in the mag? Fullsize cars, muscle cars or just compacts? If it were true "MT style" then it would have to be just compacts. That is what is covered in MT. You can write all the proposals you want but there is one thing that keeps a magazine alive. Advertising. If you don't have the advertising then you really don't have anything. Gil at Tailate is pulling off something really unique with no ads. But what do people say about it? It's too expensive. Tailgate loses money on every issue even at the "high" price it is. But Gil has managed to work it to where his company still has an interest in printing it. Grinder was the only magazine that covered everything related to this style of vehicle. As long as it was done up right it was covered. But it is gone, at least for now. You might want to check with them on how they pulled it off. But I'm not sure you will be able to get one of the big companies to go for something without a decent profit margin.
