What would a shop charge to tub the rear of a 90 Chevy truck w/ trailer fenders and weld in a notch cover. Metalwork, and body work no paint work, just primer
really depends on where you live. I've heard of shops round here starten from about 50 bucks a corner. And it goes up from there. But they mostly ask you to have the wheels and tires setup so they don't over/under tub it.
thats a reasonably easy task and you could probably get a much better deal if you can find someone reputable that will just do it on the side. price the parts from suicide doors or where ever you want to get them, then if you can find someone that'll do it for you i can't image it should cost you more than a couple hundred.
what about if it has a line-x bedliner, what would you do, then
At CarNutz where I work it would be about a days labor which would be 500ish, that would be without paint or undercoat.
500 or so is what I am thinking as well
We charge 450 to install tubs and notch cover, seam sealed, and in primer. That doesn't include having to remove bed liner, we would probably add 150 extra to just remove the edges of the liner to weld everything in. Bed liner sucks!
