i dont care about ride quality a bit. im just wondering because i know where i cn get a set of 4" lowering blocks for the rear. just so you know im not a fan of lowering blocks that are that big, but i plan on bagging it in the future sometime. i dont know a whole lot about torsion bar front ends so any help would be appreciated. thanks in advance.

Take the torsions out and just ride on the bumpstops. Feel free to take on of the two out on each side, but not both. Thats the lowest you can go, and it will ride like donkey ass.

or you can buy a pair of 2 inch drop spindles and crank down the torsion bars an inch or so. just loosen the backing nuts apart and raise them up an even amount on both sides. thats what i did with my 91 yota years ago.

i rode with my bars out in my dawg, and well....5 point turns on A1A in daytona was interesting at the least. Fun times though. Thats without bumpstops btw.

A buddy of mine used to roll around his yota with the front crossmember about an inch off the ground all the time with the torsions cranked down. He might have had drop spindles to, i dont remember.

hey thanks guys for the tips been wantin to do somethin to it, waitin for the money to bag it and body drop it sucks. i think im goin to go with 2" drop spindles and low as the torsion bars will allow. I'll just take leaves out of the rear to lower it along with the blocks. the engine crossmember 1" from the ground interests me i wanna see how low i can make it. So now that i have decided who do you guys recomend for drop spindles?
