No, they don't lower your truck more. Some DJM arms do by putting the spring perch lower in the arm. You can lay just fine on stock arms. This truck has all stock suspension, with angled upper arms.

he is right, i have seen guys just use cups to lay out, but you will have to either z the frame or notch the front crossmember to get it on the ground
