I have a 99 f350 thats lower with 22 aloca classic round big hole wheels i only have four wheels and have been runing my factory wheels on the inner rear with the adpters bolted to the outside of the 16in wheel , i have had my wheels for about 2 years now, my question is running the factory wheels on the rear causes some funny tire wear, my tire size is 275-45-22 that was the tire that matched my factory tire overall size, does anyone have any information that might help me i thought about trying to find so none polished milled 22s to run in the rear. and i cant find any prices on none polished milled 22s or if there is a special inner wheel that some one offers.

If you are running a 275/45/22 your inner tire should be a 235/85/16. Tire pressure has alot to do with the tire wear when running the outer 22 application. We usually run around 65psi in the 16s and around 51-60psi in the 22s, depending on your driving loads.
I sale machined inner 22s and 24s, but honestly it is only a few more dollars to buy the polished wheels.
Send me a pm and I will give you some prices.

so if i want to keep runnung my 16 inch inners i can change my tire pressure to 60psi and it will hel with raipd tire ware, i have been runnung 35psi in the front tires and rear and about 30 psi in the inside 16in tires ,beacuse the max psi on the tires is 50 psi for the 22s and 80psi for the 16s, but my inner tire size is the same as what you listed ill give that a try because i have only replaced one set of front tires in 2 years but i have replaced 3 sets of rear tires in two years and i got to the point were i took the inners of the rear and just pimped with the 4 22s,

Yeah try bumping your psi up in the rear. If you are only running 30psi on the inner 16s, in reality they are probably around 1-2 inches smaller than your outer 22. This ratio is what is giving you wierd tire wear.

Ok just needed to ask this...so I have 6 machined 22" Alcoa's right now and American Force adapters. I was under the impression I should have all six 22" rims, cause of this same tire wear fear.
If I run a stock inner wheel-the adapter gets bolted to the outer of the stock rear...right?
But if I have all 6 22" rims, and want to rock them at the same time, how do they bolt up out back? Are the threads long enough?
Sorry to ask stupid ass questions but I have been gathering parts for about 6 months and the adapters are still in the box. I have to mount up these bad boys in a week, so if i can rock the 16" inner and save some cash-i'll consider it.
Thx guys.

yea i run the 16 inner wheel on mine.. just bolt the 16 up to the truck then the adpt. then the big nice wheel. if your gunna run all six just bolt the adpt to the truck and put both wheels on the stucks are long enough.

When running six 22s....do you have to modify the bed on the inside any? We are tubbing mine, but what I am trying to say is, do you have to widen the inside fenderwells to run four 22s on the rear...?
