CA smog check

I went today to get my smog check done, but it failed. I don't quite get it. I kind of thought it might, but wasn't sure. Everything is cool on the motor and has not been messed with. I don't have no aftermarket engine upgrades. I did have to plug in my old cluster. I do sense that my mass airflow sensor wants to go out-it tends to sputter sometimes when I wana floor it. I doesn't do it after I've ran it for a while.

my guages are all digital and mine passed
my buddy has 03 dash and guages in his 89 and they didnt tell him anything and it passed

It wasn't that much of a hassle though to plug it in and take it off. Where do you go Matt, in Visalia? I was just there a while ago

I got it to pass. It was a dirty sensor, and a bad cat. It runs pimp.
