FBI sheetmetal

Ive order a tailgate skin and a couple of roll pans from fbi and the tailgate skin fit perfect but the roll pan stuck out about a 1/16 of an inch they make them long tho so you can mold them in easily and adjust for fitment...i also order a pair of taillight fillers for an 88-98 chevy and they sucked my buddy ordered them from grants for twice the price and they fit like a glove the body line was PERFECT Grant is deffinetly the way to go

i ordered some box sten taillight fillers and they fit my 720 better so i used them on it. they didnt in any way resemble something that may have been a filler for a sten.

i dont want to shave my tailgate, i just want a smooth cover for it....

i thought tailgate skinds replace the factory tailgate skin? Do they just go over it? you'll still have to cut off the old one and weld the new one on. Then put a flip kit on the back of the gate and install a shaved tailgate kit. But i could be wrong bout that.

I got fillers and my cali combo from FBI a while ago. Had no real big issues with their products. The cali combo had extra material to it so it had to be trimmed down to fit but other than that, there wasn't a real big problem. The taillight fillers also fit pretty well.

You need to cut off the old skin to put on the new one.

I cut off my old skin and put the new one one the tailgate afterwards

yah, my stock tailgate skin is bent all to ****....so i want a smooth skin....

fbi did my roll pan and i mocked it up and it looked awesome. Trimmed it a hair and it fit like a glove. I don't know about the tailgate but the pan fit nicely. Would much rather trim a little than have to fill gaps. Good luck with it.

I actually just orderd a skin for my gate a couple weeks ago. Ill let ya know how it is when it comes in.
