I have a 2001 chevy. I want to be able to tow my 53 chevy with it. It has been dropped with beltech stuff has a flip kit and bolt in notch. I want to keep the leafsprings. I have checked in to the ride rite bag setup but not sure they will work because of how low the truck is. Anybody put them on a lowered truck? Not going to cut the bed. How about air shocks are they strong enough for towing?

no air shocks arent strong enough for anything. you can get a ride right helper kit and make it fit your truck. its a bolt on kit and you can put it where you need it. you stated drop stuff and flip kit, are your springs still stock or different springs? the reason i ask, is your truck doesnt look really low in that pic, if stock springs how low does it sit with the trailer on it? anyways, the ride right kit will work

Looks fairly low to me! Looks like the tire is at the fender. You can get an air helper suspension.

I believe they have some. Also you could make you your own brackets and just make a kit. Get like a 3 gallon tank a small compressor, Couple firestones,Couple 1/4 valves and your set

The truck is as low as you can go without cutting bed. I was thinking about making my on mounts. But I would rather just buy a bolt on kit. I havent put a trailer on it yet but the rearend already hits the frame when you get on it. Thanks for all help
