dumba** needs help

I have a bagged 2000 Grand am. i have 2 Viair 380's 1 4 gauge wire goin to the back to a distro block and the wires commin off that to the compressors. so they run all the time even when the cars off my question is how can i hook them up so they shut off with the car. my car has the handles shaved so it sucks when the batt goes dead and I would like to fix this problem.. thanks

you need a pressure switch and a relay bro...

you need an on/off switch between your 12v and your pressure switch main power will always stay hot to your relay just killing your 12v control circut

that diagram will work, just run the +12v lead coming from the pressure switch to an ignition wire.

so i can just run the 12volt for the pressure switch to an ignition wire and the compressors wont run when the cars off? right

dude easy way just run it off your remote wire on your radio and your raido is on a ignition so when you turn your car off your compressors go off too !!!

Something like this should work well for you. Something that I find extremely funny is that the diagram that Tommy posted above is one that I made a few years back... interesting that its still floating around.
