hey all, i know it may be a dumb question, but I am debating whether to build a full tube chassis, or a full box chassis. I am building a colorado from the ground up, so i am not worrying about fitment. It will be stock floored. I am not sure which way i should go. I know the tube chassis will be some more work. Oh an by the way, it will have a flaming river billet rack, and a Kugel IRS as well, on 22's. Let me hear some opinions????

If by tube chassis you mean round tube and box you mean 2x2 I say go with the 2x2. you are going hotrod on it and box tubing is more hotrod.

umm this is a question you should ask yourself. what i mean is who cares what we think, its your truck. personally, id say leave the truck alone, and put all that stuff in a old 30's car.. then you can sell it for 50k instead of the maybe 10k your full show truck might bring..

just my 2 pennies

If you have never built a frame before, I think you should "cut your teeth" on a box tube frame. A tube chassis isn't something you just decide to build one day and go for it. You really need to do your homework on tube chassis and realize the engineering obstacles that you will encounter along the way. If it something that you think you are ready for, I say, "Hell yeah! go for it!"
