Air Struts

any way to fix the bounce on air rides with struts, If a cop gets behind me and sees how much it is bouncing they will pull me over for unsafe suspension or automobile

What brand struts are you using?

I have air lift struts on my car and they ride nice. Now my old civic on air cyl. that was a diff. story. What kind of struts are you running?

Those ride rough? Mine are the air lift sleeve style air strut and they ride pretty good, I thought the bellow style bag would ride better. Try this, the adj. knob on the bottom of the strut turn it counter clockwise as far as you can, that will soften up the ride the most. I actually have mine turned in (clock wise) all the way cause it handles better, but does ride a little stiffer, still not bad though.

werd one of my bros has the easystreet struts on his alero and it rides like a caddy. my sister has the same on her eclipse and it rides really good as well. maybe your running too much pressure.

alright im gonna go do that knob thing right now. but since it bounces alot shouldnt I have to make it "stiff" like yours?

What pressure are you running in the struts? Are you lifting the car all the way up, or riding halfway between aired out and all the way?

I have 1/2 valves so its hard to control how far down they go so its usually close to full or close to empty (empty in the back anyway)
