lt1 - ls1

the bellhousings are completely different, it will not bolt up at all.

ok im kinda confused, i have an lt1 going in the truck, but have a manual 4l60e. will it bolt up ?

I work at a GM dealer and will tell you for sure that the LS1 and LT1 bell housings are differant and will not work with each other.

but will the lt1 bolt up to the manual 4l60e

wow that bursts my bubble. well heres a question my tremec tranny has a removable tranny wats the odd of getting a bellhousing that will work or does anyone make an adaptor

The LS and LT bolt patterns are different, but they will bolt up to each other in either direction. There will be one bolt that doesn't line up. You can run an LS7 on a TH350 or a 327 on a T-56. Chevy was good to all of us.
