lt1 - ls1

does anyone know if the ls1 bellhousing bolt pattern is the same as the lt1

i don't know for a fact, but almost posative they are the same, pretty much all sbc works together

the ls1 bolt pattern is diffrent than the lt1.

you can use the same tranny.....

and if im not mistaken those motors usually come backed by either a 4l60e or a t-5 or t-56....

well so far its 2 to 1, wondered if anyone to where i could find out for a fact

camaroz28.com if it is an auto it is a 4l60e. if it is a standard it is t-5 or a t6.

i know thats wat trannies they run.....i have a brand new tremec 6speed that bolts up to the 350 i got laying at the shop, but im planning on running a ls1 and my camaro buddy says they were different

im confused, you want to know if the bellhousing bolts are different, but you know what transmissions the engines use.......

just want to know if the bellhousings are different. because the tranny i have fits the lt1, but i want to run the ls1 just wonder if my tranny will work.
