Ive got a Speedglas too & its awesome...Im able to stig, mig, & tig weld with mine & have nothing but good results with it.

Speedglas 9002X if you can afford it.
The Miller Big window Elite is a good hood though too. You should be able to buy them for around $250. If you are shopping around make sure you check the sticker on the front lens. The hoods that shipped last month have an "auto on and grind mode features"

The guy that said he paid $200, you really got a good deal! That is below cost!

I have an Inweld auto darkening. Its not the greatest helmet but it does what i need it to do.

My friend bought me an ArcOne Vision for christmas. He paid around $180 for it and it's awesome. Haven't done any heavy work with it though. I would think a painted one would get scratched up with the kind of work we do.

the "painted" ones are molded those color(s). i loooove my old jackson hood w/ the big window. my autodarkening hood sux, i paid like 350 for it from snap on. ive never really liked them anyways.
