Well my christmas gift was money to buy a new welding helmet. Ive been looking at the miller ones but i wanted some opinions on which one you would choose and why. I really like the elite series and im torn between the boyd one and the red traditiona flamed one.

I've got the boyd one (wish i would have bought just a plain one, but whatever)

I love it though, works great, large window, well worth it.

i like mine alot, its just a plan red helmet with a big window and a gold lens. The lens makes a big difference for me over the normal green lens.

the auto darking helmet is nice too, the only bad thing is sometimes you cover the sensor on them and they dont work. Like in tight places and i just got used to the old way. Oh and no gloves is a bad habit, and when i am tacking parts lol. enough said but at least i get a head start on a tan.
