I weld 3/8" AR plate to the bottom of my frame. lasts about a month with daily draggin.

I just use 2x2 1/4" wall box tubing... Cut about a 3" piece and weld that shit to the frame right before where the leaf hangers used to be.. and drag that shit off.. When it gets low, I weld another piece on to it..

We used some shit one time that lasted forever, it was actually part of the hydraulic ram on a fork-lift, ya know the round shiny part? it was about 3" round.. hard as hell and lasted forever..

Yeah I remember, I remembered all too well when I replaced my rockers and cab corners because there was nothing left. I even drug through the inner rockers andcab corners. FUCK that "Harcore" bullshit. I'm not putting anymore rockers or cab corners on my truck.

P.S. Back when me and my friends started draggin, and that was a long time ago "Before" drag blocks and trailer balls, we were making our own shit to drag; because we were draggin our frames to shreds. So fuck all that.no one said anything about being"HARDCORE" its just when i was doing this shit when i started the was no such thing as pussy ass balls or blocks, if you gotta plate your frame with some 1/4 or 3/8 flat stock thats one thing no big deal, but when people have ginormous chunks of metal hanging off the frame or a trailer hitch thats stupid, and fucking dangerous, i watched a trailer ball fly off a truck and blast through a windshield and back glass of a truck, real safe for anyone behind a truck with these things, but plating something strong enough that wont fly off or effect how low you lay out isnt really that bad and will save your rockers and cab corners, but if you want to do it good luck to any and all behind you in a drag session hope no one gets hurt with flying chunks of steel, or anyones truck for that matter.

What is the big deal?!?! I personnally drag both, I drag my frame and I also drag blocks. I like to drag blocks because it puts on a better show and it's alot easier to replace blocks then it is to weld more metal onto your frame or even your doors for some people.
Just because some people drag something other than what was "in the past" is no big deal. Now if someone welded foot long bars on to the back of their truck to drag, not width wise, I am talking height wise, then yeah That's pretty gay.
Did you ever think that may some people just don't want to fuck up their ride that they have put so much work into. I know I don't want to fuck up my truck just to drag it down the street.
BUT THEN AGAIN, I'M NOT BODYDROPPED SO WHAT DO I KNOW!!

get a chunk of titanium round stock or sq. stock off of EBAY!?!...you can usually find it on there for really cheap and just get it drilled and tapped...i have two chunks on mine that are about 2"x3"x4", got one piece and cut into two and was only like 30 bucks shipped...

p.s. i drag titanium and my rockers, but i am with some other ppl on here...drag whatever you want to drag, just make it safe for the other ppl draggin with you...don't hate on ppl that want to save their frame or body that they spent so much time and money on...
