I didnt wait in line to get one, i dont care to much for them, but, i understand why most do it. You wait in line for 3 days to buy a system that you can sell for $3,000+ Thats $800+ a day. I dont think thats dumb at all! The people who pay those prices are the idiots. The only problem is, just like the 360, right after the release the prices start dropping fast due to all the supply. If i was going to get one on the release day, i would have put it on eBay a week early to get the highest price i could and ship it out the day i got it.

For the guy that sold his for 14000. I would be a little worried. The guy who bought it has a screen name of Bobzharrydik and has 0 feedback. Most people I know who are well off enough to pay 14 g's for a game would not want to be considered bobzharrydik!

some people did that. got a pre order reciept and put that up on the auction saying they will ship they day it dropped.

Just wait 5 years and the price will be $99 - $150 like the PS2. I never understood buying a brand new game system right off. My experience is that the best games usually don't come out until the system has been on the market for a while anyway.
Who cares if it plays PS2 and PS1 games...my PS2 does that.

i wish i would of wanted in line to get one so i could sell it and make hella money that would of went straight into my truck!

this all just seems like the biggest waste of money for the people buying for thousands. I'll just wait until next christmas and see if their any good or crap like the first run of 360's.
